Heavyweight Champion Hasim Rahman returns to Boxing

(Baltimore, MD) October 20, 2015: Former heavyweight champion Hasim Rahman will return to the boxing ring at the Baltimore Boxing Renaissance IV (BBRIV) Saturday December, 12. Rahman, a former Lineal, WBC, IBO, and IBF heavy weight champion will once again lace up his gloves for a one-night only exhibition fight. The Baltimore Boxing Renaissance IV will be night full of exciting moments starting with the professional boxing debut of Sharif Rahman, son of Rahman. Mushin Cason, Rahman’s younger brother, will also be stepping into the ring.

Baltimore native Tyrieshia Douglas, who has a record of 9-1 with 4 knockouts, returns to the ring. Douglas is currently the IBA Bantamweight Champion and holds the UBF Flyweight and UBF Bantamweight titles. The current WBF Super Bantamweight World and UBF World Super Featherweight Champion Jennifer Salinas returns to the ring with a 17-3 record with 4 knockouts. The BBRIV card also includes Travis Reeves 10-2 with 4 knockouts, Joshua Davis 9-1 with 4 knockouts, Baltimore native Jeffrey McCalla who has started his professional career with 3 knockout wins, Devin Butcher 4-0 and Kwame Ritter 2-0.

Shawstyle Productions and Shabazz Brotherz Boxing are bringing the 4th installment of the Baltimore Boxing Renaissance to the Coppermine Du Burns Arena, located at 3100 Boston Street in Baltimore, MD Saturday December 12, from 5PM – 11:30PM EST. BBRIV will feature special guest performances by Scolla Dinero, from the multi-platinum group Dru Hill, and Stir; music will be provided by DJ Jav and the event will be hosted by Ashley T.
