Check out All ACCESS: Jacobs vs. Qullin to get you pumped up for the matchup this Saturday night in Brooklyn.
Daniel “Miracle Man” Jacobs (30-1, 27 KOs) and Peter “Kid Chocolate” Quillin (32-0-1, 23 KOs) will battle for the WBA World middleweight belt.
This could make for a good fight as both men have chin-related issues from the past. Quillin has been down multiple times in the past as has Jacobs.
Also at stake is bragging rights as this is also the Battle of Brooklyn. Jacobs is actually from the east side of Brooklyn in Brownsville. Jacobs is actually a transplant originally from Chicago and living in Brooklyn for some years.
This is a true 50/50 matchup and the world is divided on who will win. Don’t be surprised to see multiple knockdowns. I think Jacobs can score his early. Quillin will definitely look for his big left hook to land. I think it will.
I would like to see Jacobs win but I can’t help but think how Sergio Mora, with only nine KOs in 34 fights dropped him. I’m not making a pick- my heart is with Jacobs but my gut says “Chocolate” might get him.
