  • WKG & M-1 Challenge 100 is the anniversary show and the first show of 2019.
  • 20 fighters represent 9 different nations: China, Russia, USA, Brazil, Georgia, Cuba, Greece, Ukraine and Poland.
  • Alexander Butenko (46-14-3) is the most experienced fighter of this show, it’s going to be his 64th pro fight. He is also the former lightweight champion.
  • Lightweight champion Roman Bogatov defends his title for the first time.
  • Lightweight challenger Michel Silva is the tallest lightweight in M-1 Global. He is 6′ 2”.
  • Edward “The Ninja” Massey and Yoislandy Izquierdo both won their M-1 debuts by head kick knockouts in the first round. Massey needed 18 seconds, Izquierdo 36 seconds.
  • American featherweight Daniel Swain headlined the show in China last year, but he will open the undercard this time.
