Official event sponsors release Week 1 episode
The countdown to Matchroom’s August 1st return continues with The William Hill Fight Camp podcast.
Each Tuesday of fight week during our Fight Camp series will see a fresh podcast episode released, hosted by David Alorka featuring exclusive interview snippets, betting odds and more.
Episode one focuses on Saturday’s opener topped by Sam Eggington’s clash with Ted Cheeseman.
‘The Savage’ exclusively reveals he trialed moving to Tony Sims’ gym last year following defeat to Liam Smith and opens up on why he returned to his Midlands roots.
We also hear from Eddie Hearn who explains how the Fight Camp concept came to fruition, Belfast Puncher James Tennyson sets his sights on fighting at World level once more, Jordan Gill and Reece Bellotti discuss their crunch Featherweight showdown and Fabio Wardley knows victory over Simon Vallily will land his first pro title, the English Heavyweight crown.
