Press Release – Fan Nominations For 2020 North Carolina Boxing Awards

***For Immediate Release***

Raleigh, North Carolina (January 25) – What a wild and unpredictable year of boxing in North Carolina. As uncertain as North Carolina Boxing was in 2020, the fan nominations and votes have not been any different. The participation from previous years has dismally declined and some of the requested fan votes for specific categories provided entertainment and some great topics for discussion. But, many of the votes provided less clarity for the specific category awards. A specific example of one of the votes we received: “I vote Noel Echevarria fighter of the year because he can beat Michael Williams Jr, who is probably the best prospect from North Carolina.” In order to respect every fan vote and try to provide clarity, we did our best to categorize the votes we received.

Here are your fan-selected nominees for the 2020 North Carolina Boxing Awards. (We Will leave the voting open until January 31, 2021).
